New Joint Master’s Programs Between UNWE and Abertay University

The negotiations have been finalized for two new joint Master’s programs between the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) and Abertay University, Scotland. The representatives of the partner university, Claire MacEchen and Doug Watters, were welcomed at UNWE by Associate Professor Dr. Mihail Musov, Vice Rector for Research and International Cooperation. The meeting also involved Associate Professor Yanko Hristozov, Secretary General for International Cooperation, Professor Hristo Katrandzhiev, Head of the Department of Marketing, Associate Professor Yovka Bankova, and Associate Professor Angel Marchev, faculty members at UNWE, as well as students Laura Tsvetkova and Alexander Dorokhin from the Master’s program in Marketing and Strategic Planning with English-language instruction.

One of the Master’s programs will be in Business Administration (Master of Business Administration, MBA), and the other will focus on Digital Marketing. These programs are expected to be validated in the coming months and to start during the academic year 2023/2024. The teaching will be joint, and graduates will receive two diplomas—one from UNWE and the other from Abertay University. The colleagues from Abertay University had the opportunity to engage with faculty and students at UNWE, gaining firsthand insight into the quality of education and the excellent facilities provided by UNWE.

The Education4Everybody team actively participated in the negotiations, contributing to the successful development of these joint programs.
